The floor in ancient amfitheatres was covered
with sand to bind blood. Bloody games were
held to amuse and awe the public and Caesar.
Every fighter had to pass the arena through
porta triumphalis and, if lucky, leave it through
the opposite porta libitinensis.
Sometimes, Caesar held his own games by throwing
in the hardest and worst gladiators and animals
to practice his tactical abilities.
Here, in this arena, you can assist him!
